Social Good Follow Up

Sunday was an awesome day.  One of those “Wow, I wish I could bottle some of this awesome up for another day” type of days.  I spent the day surrounded by my family, doing things I loved.  Online, the outpouring of birthday wishes on Facebook and Twitter was unreal and humbling all at the same time.  I was moved and touched by all of you.

I’m happy to report that my post on Sunday received 32 comments.  Based on what I promised, that equals $160 for @UnicefUSA!

However, thanks to generous matching donations from Sean Cook (@hiedcareercoach) and someone who wishes to remain anonymous, this bumps up the total $480!!!  But wait, there’s more!

I got this tweet on Sunday night as I was reading all the comments.  What Irma tweeted, I had already committed to in my mind :-)   So, when you throw in an additional $90, this brings the total amount donated to @UnicefUSA a whopping $570!

Thanks to all of you who commented on the post, RT-ed it, and tweeted about it on Sunday.  You helped over 1,000 children and their future education, and did some real Social Good and I am forever grateful!
